Evening all, For our next project we are looking at using .net 3.5 and WPF. We currently use VS2005 is it better of upgrading to 2008 or to do the upgrade to VS2005? Thanks Michael

We've moved up to VS2008 and all is fine.

I have had zero problems with vs 2008. I am using Vista sp1 with vs 2008 sp1. The only issue is that you will probably 1/2 a day for the install.
I didn't get any requirements for the signature

Took me about a day just to patch three VS 2008 Express editions to SP1 + Silverlight! Though most of this was due to very slow downloads.

If you're doing WPF, then you really need to use 2008 - the designer is far better, and the Cider team (the guys and girls behind the WPF designer) have made some dramatic improvements in that respect.

erm... I'm confused. .NET 3.5 is not supported in VS2005. It's called 3.5 b/c the WPF upgrade to 2005 was called .NET 3.0.
