Netbeans 6.5 available at netbeans.org is super cool. Supports variety of J2ee frameworks like JSF, Struts etc too, in addition to supporting php dev, ruby on rails dev, C++ dev etc (if u take the complete download) http://www.netbeans.org/community/releases/65/relnotes.html[^]

Wow that's the fastest univoter pick up I have ever seen. Just joined, 2 messages, 2 univotes. Unless you answer in the C# forum was completely lame of course. Of course this seems like blatant product spruiking. I'll be generous I'll give you a 2 just to see the numbers vary. Please pay for your advertising.

Advertising Netbeans? I was just sharing the feeling I had using it. Finally I feel free going away from using Eclipse for which I had to download multitudes of plugins to set up any complex framework.

It's too bad they stopped shipping the free DVD for all the people with lousy internet connection :( (like myself ;))

Its 239 MB. Took me 6 hours to download on 16-25 KBPs varying speed. How is your internet speed? I was thinking mine would be the slowest broadband in this planet. :-D

Wow, you won, I thought mine is the slowest (256Kbit). The IDE itself isn't that large, but all the bells and whistles make a DVD :)

          Regards, Lev

It seems to be more of a cry from the heart for the product, than an advertisement

You just joined and have made only this post. You posted here in the Soapox , which is a completely inappropriate place for the subject. Now you have the temerity to actually lie about your motivations. The 1 votes, including mine, are well deserved.

For whatever fucking reason you seem to take pleasure in pointing out 1 votes... you know what... I can see the 1 votes clearly and you pointing out them in almost every reply you make to me make you seem like more of a sadist to me. Its like there are one votes and I can see them! And you reply to me tell me that "Hey see you got 1 votes!". Motherf*cking bastard... loser... sh*t eater... get some life will you!

Yes that's what I did when he replied me first. But then he started replying me back again pointing me to the univotes. I know that the votes are justified but then pointing me repeatedly reply after reply really seemed sad to me :| . The point of it was just speaking how cool I felt this new IDE to be... just like you feel when you look at something really cool you feel like sharing it.

Congratulations on your mature and well thought out responses. I replied to you exactly once (I may have edited that response as well, perhaps that is what you are referring to?). In any case, if I was mistaken about your intent, then I apologize. It is quite common for over-enthusiastic advertising types to spam these forums with messages just like yours (coming from a newly registered user that has no prior post history and only that one subject trail combined with posting in a rather inappropriate forum for the subject.), thinking that they can get a bit of free action that way. This tends to annoy longtime CP members, explaining all the one votes and my response to you. Your three rants are remarkable for their childishness, hopefully they represent an anomaly caused by overly hasty reaction. Have a very nice day.

You're lucky Rob is being patient. You have given him no reason to be.
