    I m using Windows XP Sp2. After turn on XP in between 10 to 15 min my XP Hanging. In that Time Can't Open the Taskmanager (Using Shortcut Key Or normal) And when i press windows key it is opening. mouse movement is working but clicking operation not working. Working: Usually I m working in VB.NET & VB and Internet in this time it is hanging. Anti Virus is Norton it is not showing any problem. Thanks in advance.

      There must be a Virus on your PC. Try not to connect to internet and then scan your PC

        I done but hanging percent is reduced but still problem is there.

          It more likely that you have a bad motherboard, memory, processor, or power supply...

                  You can use Memtest[^] to test your memory, you have to burn it to a cd. To test your motherboard, Power pack or processor I can't help you out, I don't know of any software off the top of my head to help you out. Boot up in safe mode, check what gets loaded in your start up, check Services also as most people don't really check those out all too often when they get performance issues. Finally, load up IE in safe mode with no add-ons' and check what is in there also. Best of luck, let me know how it turns out for you.

                      Ya I checked before only. There is one register Entry named as "KATARNAK" and I removed as well as related files also. But it reduce the hanging percentage but know per day once it will hanging.... Plzzzz Get me out of this problem.

                        Try formating the system and install OS again. There may be some trojan on your system.

                          Check the fan which is fit on ur processor. Whether it is fit properly else try 2 apply coolent cream which might have gone dry
