CP is un-moderated, or more correctly, self moderated. Users can report a post (the link is directly below the voting links) that is objectionable. This records a vote of 1 and additionally marks the post as reported. if enough (I have no idea how many it takes to meet the threshold) report a post, it will be automatically deleted. Things like the OP tend to just get derision, and are not "reported", I guess because it is more fun to just abuse the poor offender.

Thanks for briefing me about forum voting system. :-) But still as a suggestion if the post got rejected in the first place then all other CP user don't have to read the post and vote low in order to remove the post which may save all other CP users time :-)

The apple/ass-cheek thing was a hypothetical question. I don't have any apples on hand, and I'm sitting down, so there really is no way to hold an ass-cheek either. So, I guess I'm poking him with a finger (I know - which finger?) on one of my two otherwise unoccupied hands. :)

Now that sounds suspiciously like back tracking. Plus, maybe your sitting on your hand(s)? The whole thing sounds fishy to me.

You're still missing the point. We don't generally want the post to be deleted if the replies are worth keeping it around.

Why only one of your ass-cheeks? Why not both? Chuck Norris could/would hold both I'm pretty sure.

Because I have an apple in the other hand. JEEZE! :) Chuck Norris doesn't do anything without my OK.

Can you hold both of *your* ass cheeks with one hand? I need a show of hands - how many here can hold both of their ass cheeks with one hand? (Please - no pictures.)

I would suggest that before embarking on a programming career, you would be better advised to return to the Remedial Reading course that you obviously failed. As Dr Seuss pointed out... If an answer you need to scrounge Scrounge an answer in the lounge lounge scrounge fine it is but programming questions get in a tizz. Scroungey Loungey Tizzy Quizzy CP Members have deep frowns whenever programming questions are in the lounge Friendly cos it is the season of goodwill
