    i am using following code but it not seems to work can any one find out the problem... and one more thing regular expression validator and required field validators are attached with this textbox.       Just to make clear that blur event will only fired when a user leaves the input field i.e. the textbox loses the focus. Just click in the textbox and then click anywhere else and see whether you see the alert or not. http://www.w3schools.com/jsref/jsref_onblur.asp[^]

      Be careful, there is no Undo Button(Ctrl+Z) in life.
