I was busy experimenting with my own stimulus plan. Spending every dollar I had including my all of credit to support the transition of a handful of people.

Empty Rhetoric should be your name. You build your arguments on top of twisted biased pseudo-logic and then it comes crashing down just like the economy. My dream was just a way of explaining a large complex issue in simple terms. If you would just open your eyes, and do your research on economics, fractional reserve banking, and history you would understand. When I say research I don't mean look for conclusions, I mean gather the pieces, put them together, and think real hard. You won't do that though.

I'm not out to prove a point. I'm just waiting for reality to smack people in the face and seeing how they react. When I first started posting in the soapbox ranting and raving about political issues and such, people were very against what I was saying. As reality is slowly sinking in, people who originally discounted my views are now expressing views very similar to mine back in the day. Feels good to be right.

No matter how many times a read the article(s) on the page you linked to, I can't find even the suggestion that the government is influencing who the banks advertise with. The main article talks about BoA "being the target of a scathing report" about their 5 day superbowl event. As I recall, that "scathing Report" was by Fox news (I watch Fox often...), and was well deserved by BofA. Even given 14,000 new accounts, the cost per account was absurd... I think you may be jumping to conclusions here. There's enough wrong with TARP and AERRA that we don't need to attract ridicule by inventing stuff that is imaginary.

The door is open a crack and government stuck it's foot in (maximum wage cap). While US has not overtly dictated what advertisers a company can use that recieves TARP funds, I believe it's not far away.

It’s been surprising what has happened since Sept 18th of last year; I would never believed it, hard to get my head around it. Perhaps it is best to accept Christian Guas's point that they (TARP) recipients are now government entities, and they will act on the parties behalf that has power. But, I respect your point that I should not get ahead of the curve. However the power the federal government will be able to wield as a result of bailouts is enormous. The number of ways it could and will be leveraged will keep the politicians up late trying to exploit.
