I have a need to grab non-rss data from a web site and also grab a couple rss feeds from a different site. Once the data is collected, I need to manipulate the resulting data set and place it into a MySQL table. I played with Dapper but it was hopelessly slow for building a query. http://www.dapper.net[^] Apatar looked promising, but it is still too immature. http://www.apatar.com/[^] Does anyone have a recommendation on a web scrape / rss manipulation tools? Not even sure what one would call this kind of tool! I would prefer a locally hosted solution, but would accept a service if it does the job. Thanks!

I could do some customized parsing to collect data as well as can able to write a RSS reader easily. If you would like to use my service hourly basis, please feel free to write me on patil.mayur.n@gmail.com . Will discuss further exact details on chat if you are interested. Mayur

Mayur, Thanks for the offer - I am looking for an off the shelf tool(s). If I don't find one, I will resort to writing my own since I will be writing quite a bit of the backend stuff anyway. Thanks
