Too bad i couldn't offer much cos i sometimes also feel the same as you do, especially when i am out of job now... Perhaps the world might be a better place if humans do not have hatred, sorrow, and those negative emotions which in my opinion, cause a lot of suffering... (and not forgetting money, i think it is one of the roots of evil) Weiye, Chen When pursuing your dreams, don't forget to enjoy your life...

Thanks,Chen. If I can select,I think i will hope humans do not have "sorrow",because it is the strongest feeling that can not be got rid of. this is my signature for forums quoted from shog*9: I can't help but feel, somewhere deep within that withered, bitter, scheming person, there is a small child, frightened, looking a way out.

and what we should do to comfort us? Recently i feel very sad and sometime even think life is meaningless(don't take me wrong,I will not commit suicide,I think that is silly doing). I want some consulting from kind you. this is my signature for forums quoted from shog*9: I can't help but feel, somewhere deep within that withered, bitter, scheming person, there is a small child, frightened, looking a way out.

This is what "religion" is for. Personally, mainstream religion never helped me with these issues. When my son was ready for kindergarten, I ended up putting him into a Waldorf school. Why? Because when I walked into that kindergarten, the small frightened child in me suddenly felt safe, beyond any feeling of safety I've ever experienced. If there's a Waldorf school near you, ask them when they have an open house and check out the kindergarten (and the grade classes). The experience I had is shared with almost everyone I have ever talked to that stepped into a Waldorf kindergarten. Waldorf education was created by a Dr. Rudolf Steiner, who, among other things, has also written numerous books on the subject of "Anthroposophy", the spiritual science of man. Since this is the basis of the spiritual insights that lead to this particular teaching style (the philosophy is itself NOT taught to children--the curriculum teaches all religions of the world in much better depth than any public school), I took it upon myself to learn more about Anthroposophy and the beliefs of Dr. Steiner. I found that all those painful questions that no one could answer was finally answered for me. My personal experience was rather profound. I feel that everyone knows, deep inside themselves, when they encounter "truth". For me, Anthroposophy is truth. For you, it might be different. The point is, if I may be so bold, you need to seek what you feel is "truth" in answering those questions. I don't think that psychology, science, etc., can't answer these questions. Good luck, Marc webmaster@knowledgeautomation.com

Someone just send me this Email. Thought I would pass it on. An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. "A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy. "It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. This same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too." The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?" The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed." -author unknown Man follows the way of earth. Earth follows the way of heaven. Heaven follows the way of Tao. Tao follows what is natural.

Not wishing to get drawn off topic, fear, anger and sorrow can all be observed elsewhere in the animal kingdom. As to the balance though - I agree totally. The problem is those little bastards who keep nicking the weights from the positive side all the time...

When I feel low I take heart from all those around me who care, and think about what wonderful things may happen in the future. No matter how bad things have been at times (I've been closer to suicide than I care to think about), something special always happens sooner or later. Hold onto that thought, and be yourself. If your going to be shallow you might as well have fun ? My name is Milo Minderbender I am 27 years old.
