    You need something that says "No kid sisters, No programming questions, and No politics" ... The Penthouse I think it rings of "adult content", obviously has nothing to do with programming (well, you know, to normal people) and I'm here to tell ya, if I was in a Penthouse, the last thing I'd be looking to do is discuss politics ... unless it turned her on. That's my two cents.

    The Penthouse? Hanging out in an illicit, sexy, environment frequented by scantily clad people? With a roomful of programmers??? Run away! Run away!!!

      The Lounge After dark just isn't catch enough. A bunch of Code Project stickers to whomever comes up with the best name. BTW - if programming questions are posted in the lounge should I move them here? If they are posted here should I leave them for you guys to savage?

        Cross post them to both places - get a little bit of healthy competition going for: a) the wittiest reply b) the most savage reply whilst keeping within the rules of the forum c) the most humiliation heaped upon the poor recipient As for a name - what about the balcony? Programming questions will then be Raw Meat for the Balcony[^]

          Why do I get the feeling that somewhere, on your "Things I've done and vaguely remember" list, this is a line item with a check mark next to it ...

                            The Pub. I'm not even English (third generation Amuriken, yup), and I think the notion of a pub fits.

                                    How about The Shed. A place where men (and women) can be men, drink, smoke, put posters from FHM on the wall, piss in the sink and generally behave in such a way as you wouldn't get away with at home in front of the Mrs. Hmm perhaps you could just call it the pub.

                                          The Lounge After dark just isn't catch enough. A bunch of Code Project stickers to whomever comes up with the best name. BTW - if programming questions are posted in the lounge should I move them here? If they are posted here should I leave them for you guys to savage?

                                          cheers, Chris Maunder CodeProject.com : C++ MVP
