We need a name

The Lounge After dark just isn't catch enough. A bunch of Code Project stickers to whomever comes up with the best name. BTW - if programming questions are posted in the lounge should I move them here? If they are posted here should I leave them for you guys to savage?

My watch stopped.

when your watch (whatever that is) stopped, the day is over anyway. Look through the window (any make and model), you can't see any Sun can you? :)

You need something that says "No kid sisters, No programming questions, and No politics" ... The Penthouse I think it rings of "adult content", obviously has nothing to do with programming (well, you know, to normal people) and I'm here to tell ya, if I was in a Penthouse, the last thing I'd be looking to do is discuss politics ... unless it turned her on. That's my two cents.
The no-no-no zone? :)

The Lounge The Garage (kitchen, while greasy, kid sisters are allowed in them) The Bunker or Fall Out Shelter (basement isn't deep enough, needs to be closer to Earth's core, or Hell, you choose).

...or should that be what I call the Soapbox instead?

How about The Shed. A place where men (and women) can be men, drink, smoke, put posters from FHM on the wall, piss in the sink and generally behave in such a way as you wouldn't get away with at home in front of the Mrs. Hmm perhaps you could just call it the pub.

The Bum's Rush The Vocal Minority The Dive Hot Tub (oh, wait, that's the thing at the top of my wish list after a long day at work!) The MashUp The Pit I kind of liked the suggestions of Pub and Speakeasy, too.

"Many : not conversant with mathematical studies, imagine that because it [the Analytical Engine] is to give results in numerical notation, its processes must consequently be arithmetical, numerical, rather than algebraical and analytical. This is an error. The engine can arrange and combine numerical quantities as if they were letters or any other general symbols; and it fact it might bring out its results in algebraical notation, were provisions made accordingly."
