    So there I was wondering why the pictures on my diecast web site appear just a touch blurry, but if I link to the same pictures in a forum somewhere, they look fine. Well, I finally realized that the div is set to 400px because the pics are 400px, but the class I use to display images adds a 1px black border, which means that the 400px image is *re-sized by the browser* to fit inside the div that now has a 398px-wide displayable area. This fully qualifies as a forehead slapper.
