English to Vietnamese
-
I am saving for next years holiday to Vietnam. I would like to know if there is an application where I can type in an English Phrase, and the computer will turn it into Vietnamese. I need to explain, I know there are English-Vietnamese translations available, but I cannot read Vietnamese and the various accents and tildes and circumflexes are a mystery to me. What I am after is something that will Say Out Loud In Vietnamese what I type in English. I have googled and have had zero luck.

Is there any continent you have not been to?

Antarctica, but that is in the early planning stage. Roughly... London -> Buenos Aires -> Punta Arenas (Patagonia) -> Ross Ice Shelf -> South Pole (US Antarctic Base). (Cost is likely to be about £30,000 so I need to plan, save, get some sponsorship)

I want a TALKING translation, there are machines you can buy that do it, but they are hundreds of pounds and I want something I can download to my notebook.
I am pretty sure you can get a Vietnamese translator who weighs under 100 pounds, who can also carry your notebook for you. :-D

As you're English what you really need is a text-to-loud-slow-English converter, yes?

*blink* What sort of job do you have that would let you pay for that expensive of a junket?

Just import a Vietnamese girl from a mail order bride service, teach her English in the time available, and take her along on the trip.
