How to delay loading the page for 2 seconds?

If you look at the IGN website (http://www.ign.com), you'll notice they initially load a red image with their logo for about 2 seconds before loading the entire page. Does anyone know how I could do this via either via asp.net, ajax, javascript? Thanks. -Goalie35

Create a page which would just have the IMAGE HTML. And then add script as below window.setTimeout("document.location.href=''", 2000) to the window.onload event of first page.
