I'm probably showing my age, but for those of you "original" trekkies out there, some of these inspirational posters are classics themselves. Enjoy. :) http://echosphere.net/star_trek_insp/star_trek_insp.html[^]

Nice looking posters. Definitely brings back memories. Every now and agin they show them and they look so fake now but back then they were the real deal. Funny we will probably look back on the shows now and think the same thing. Thanks for the memories Mike

They're pretty good. Somewhere on the site I found a link to 5-minute episodes of TOS. They're really good as well (especially the film versions)

Some of the storylines are still relevant though.

Very true. Some story lines and characters were unforgettable such this notorious con artist, Harcourt Fenton "Harry" Mudd[^] Quite a character, quite a series. Can't believe its incarnations have lasted this long. Interesting, I looked up longest running TV series[^] and Star Trek wasn't even listed. While the show takes place in the same fictional universe, as a whole, for its entire run; it is often renamed on a yearly basis as the central location, theme, and characters change almost completely on a season by season basis. In essence, most seasons of the show can be thought of more as a series of individual shows that make up a larger television franchise, like Star Trek for example. The list was very interesting though some I knew Gunsmoke 20 yrs. "Longest scripted series" but Simpsons??? Also 20 yrs. and "longest scripted series". I guess its true time does fly when your having fun! Mike
