    I have the same feeling. Explosive beats! But I can't go beyond that. Slate Short Month? February or May. My current guess is "Mayonnaise".

      I was thinking more along the lines of a military tattoo which is a drum performance (though nowadays generally just means an army display). Short month could be DMR which is also the army abbreviation for drummer... Though I could be on completely the wrong track! Maybe Percussion?
