    Has anyone experienced a problem when running debug in VS.NET that the Visual Studio act like it is starting the debuging process but the application never show up on the desktop. Sometimes I have to cancel debug and start over several times to make the application to really show up. (This is only happen in Windows XP not other platform). thanks, .....net guy

      I have seen this problem on Windows XP and 2000. It has improved, but not gone away, since we upgraded our domain to Windows 2000. :confused:

        i experienced this problem and finally found out that there was a previous instance of the program still running in the task manager. i terminated this instance and then it worked.
