You'd have been ok, I'm sure - but judging on what she managed to spend in 7 days, my credit card might not!

Strictly speaking, I think, that's Belgium. I quite like it though, especially with a good burger.

We're off to France next Sunday. We saw Colmar on the "Tour de France" so my wife and I thought we'd find a camp site and tour the area. Friends from Karlsruhe coming to see us, so we're hoping that a good time will be had by all: German lager, French wine...

Blame Babel. I wouldn't have a clue! I entered "You lucky sod", and that's what it gave me. So I suppose grass is quite close really. Sod[^]

I am not living far away from Colmar (Strasbourg to be precise), that's a very nice trip you are planning, the region is awesome. If you plan to buy some wine, I could give you a good address.

Here you go, address is on the web page (it is in Blienschwiller)[^] Red wine ? You will be in Alsace, which is world-famous for its white wine. Apart from the "Pinot Noir", you won't find much red wine in the area. But try the Riesling and the Gewurtztraminer.
