Just watched the history channel "ancient aliens" episode. It talked about how aliens came down and built the pyramids. Even though there were alot of krazy parts that are probably fake... there was alot of interesting stuff in it like the baghdad battery. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baghdad_Battery[^]

I rather dislike this type of pseudo science/archaeology/history/whatever programmes. They usually only have one or two genuine facts, and they are mostly misattributed to try to prove the pet theory of some whack-job. They used to be amusing, but I now fail to find them interesting in any way.

You would think that if beings capable of interstellar travel came to earth to build something, they wouldn't use sandstone and dirt. In fact, you would think that they would use that lightweight foil that even after being crumpled up in your fist, when released, it reforms into a perfectly smooth sheet of material. Aliens built the pyramids? Sh'ya - right.

Of course! Eco-Aliens don't travel in space because starships have too big an anti-matter footprint, so they mind-project themselves through the universe. Ergo, when they embark on an absolutely useless building project they have to posses the minds of the planet's inhabitants and use materials at hand.

So the 'A' ark finally made it, after all! Either that, or it's just something Ford did on his journey to mess with our minds later. I wouldn't put it past him; just look what he did to the giraffe...

Nah, that's strictly C ark tech. And the A ark folk don't get their hands dirty. But, you're right, Ford may have had a hand in it, on the other had he generally doesn't stick to any one thing for very long.

They actually run programs, like root-kit viruses, in the brains of many "regular" (from the viewpoint of genetics) humans. There are many of them here on CP wreaking havoc, spreading dis-information, exchanging coded messages. Why wouldn't they stay around here where they can play with 6 billion carbon-based wet-ware life-forms ? best, Bill

This is an error. The engine can arrange and combine numerical quantities as if they were letters or any other general symbols; and it fact it might bring out its results in algebraical notation, were provisions made accordingly." You would think that if beings capable of interstellar travel came to earth to build something, they wouldn't use sandstone and dirt. In fact, you would think that they would use that lightweight foil that even after being crumpled up in your fist, when released, it reforms into a perfectly smooth sheet of material. Aliens built the pyramids? Sh'ya - right.

That's why they stamp on wheat to deliver messages! Wheat is far more complex that rock, so only a super-advanced civilisation would be able to use it for communication! You don't understand anything! It's all so obvious!

Ok here is a quick example to explain everything. I believe, we were wrong about how advanced they were. They were probably way advanced for their time. An example would be like if we compared ourselfs to the tribes in south american jungles. People would say they are not very advanced, but yet they live in a time where we are very advanced. I think that is what happened back then. Most advancements were probably kept secret and when another culture came and attacked them and destroyed it, or it became lost in translation. Its kinda silly to think anyone can make sense of their language and drawings and truly interrupt it correctly. But you would think if aliens did make them, why use stone? Why not use metal or carbon or diamond? Why make them in a pyramid shape? Why not a skyscraper or dome? Why make them in the desert? Why carry rocks across a desert to make it? Why were human pharaohs buried in them, why not aliens?
