Just watched the history channel "ancient aliens" episode. It talked about how aliens came down and built the pyramids. Even though there were alot of krazy parts that are probably fake... there was alot of interesting stuff in it like the baghdad battery. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baghdad_Battery[^]

So the 'A' ark finally made it, after all! Either that, or it's just something Ford did on his journey to mess with our minds later. I wouldn't put it past him; just look what he did to the giraffe...

Nah, that's strictly C ark tech. And the A ark folk don't get their hands dirty. But, you're right, Ford may have had a hand in it, on the other had he generally doesn't stick to any one thing for very long.

Hi VectorX, They never left, either; they are still here moving among us, looking like "average," "normal," "everyday," people. They actually run programs, like root-kit viruses, in the brains of many "regular" (from the viewpoint of genetics) humans. There are many of them here on CP wreaking havoc, spreading dis-information, exchanging coded messages. Why wouldn't they stay around here where they can play with 6 billion carbon-based wet-ware life-forms ? best, Bill

You would think that if beings capable of interstellar travel came to earth to build something, they wouldn't use sandstone and dirt. In fact, you would think that they would use that lightweight foil that even after being crumpled up in your fist, when released, it reforms into a perfectly smooth sheet of material. Aliens built the pyramids? Sh'ya - right.

Ok here is a quick example to explain everything. I believe, we were wrong about how advanced they were. They were probably way advanced for their time. An example would be like if we compared ourselfs to the tribes in south american jungles. People would say they are not very advanced, but yet they live in a time where we are very advanced. I think that is what happened back then. Most advancements were probably kept secret and when another culture came and attacked them and destroyed it, or it became lost in translation. Its kinda silly to think anyone can make sense of their language and drawings and truly interrupt it correctly. But you would think if aliens did make them, why use stone? Why not use metal or carbon or diamond? Why make them in a pyramid shape? Why not a skyscraper or dome? Why make them in the desert? Why carry rocks across a desert to make it? Why were human pharaohs buried in them, why not aliens?

Hi VectorX, Great quote from Mark Twain there ! Before running amuck here, as advocatum diabolus in the case of Alien et. al., let me say that I personally believe there were no aliens, there are no aliens, but that nothing is more alien to ourselves than what we really are which is, itself, the primum mobile, which leads us to invent Aliens. And I believe the ancient Egyptians were remarkable people whose genius deserves full credit as ab origine. Using my old, rusted, pitted, but genuine Ockham (not an ersatz "Occam" knock-off made in sweatshops in Guangzhou by peasants from Harbin who never shave) brand razor, I can pin the tail on the donkey-minds of fools with some simple hypotheses :

The Prime Directive, and likely the fact that the pyramid is a naturally occurring rock crystal form already salient to humans of the time. And maybe they grooved on simpler geometry as being a "purer" expression of the GodHead ? After all, why were there "five Platonic solids" : in the Pythagorean mystery tradition (inheriting from Egyptian cults) geometry is sacred, and these forms reflected spiritual ideas.

They liked the climate of what is now Egypt. They liked watching humans work in big organized gangs the same way schoolchildren like seeing ant colonies exposed in glass frames. Why wouldn't the human rulers co-opt the biggest status symbols of all time if they could get away with it. Maybe the aliens did not die because they are self-renewing or, in our human terms, "immortal." Humans probably saw them eating tar raw and got the idea from that of mummification. And, so, assembled Prelates, I rest my case against the proposed beatification of Alien by demonstrating how preposterous the so-called evidence presented here has been through, volta face, imaginary experiments of the type commonly used to advance the cause. As to the so-called miracles attributed Alien, the only evidence of "miracle" anyone with a reasonable mind can see is in the unjustified success of writers of books like Von Doniken, who,
