Chinese And English
-
Hi everybody: I come from China and learning English ,if somebody whose mother Language is English and want to learn Chinese,we can learn from each other. I also a .Net developer on c#. My msn:wjp_auhtm@hotmail.com Thanks! :) wjp_auhtm 9/01
I would love to, though I can't for the life of me imagine what I'd use Chinese language skills for. Still, it would be fun to learn. I've tried learning other languages in the past, but it hasn't worked out. I started with Spanish in school, but I grew up with Mexicans - they don't speak Spanish. I switched to Latin, but there weren't a whole lot of Romans left who speak it. Without some opportunity to converse with someone literate in another language, it's rather hard to really master one. I'm fairly skilled in English - better at it than most of my English teachers in the US, so I might be of some help. I'm not very skilled in C#, but it does give us a lingua franca to start with, and I'm willing to try. Contact me via the email link, rather than the post reply button, and your address will appear in my inbox so I can respond. And please don't post your email address on a public forum again - there are 'bots that scan for them to sell to spammers. You'll regret it one day... :-D

Order chinese food, , chat with chinese about their experience and knowledge, yes the entertainment. I don't know why the world has to be linear and focus on a single language when it's invalueable ( and fun) to learn many. Knowing another language breaks down doors, creates a common level for understanding. I've spent sometime in china and I had a wonderful ( best spicy food ever ;d and very friendly people)time. I wish I had time to learn other languages of the world. As much as we would like to think "Canada", "USA", "India" boarders, Our world now is without boarders and we now have a better flow of thoughts and ideas. :) This is my warm fuzzy of the mornning... the " one thing that doesn't Suck" moment.

I know people over in Anhui province So I get to hear about things there. There is a very good c# section here. I go through that now and then and read through the articles looking at other people's Techniques. The people in the lounge are fun to chat with and lively (where I spend most of my time in cp as it brings a smile). work time :)

Yes, I do know. I was merely attempting to add some humor. I've worked with some incredibly talented Chinese people. Not to forget their delicious food. :)
