Well, nuts or not, their techniques are clearly effective as illustrated below. a) You did, in fact, receive the spam, their primary objective b) You actually read it, their secondary objective which only leads one to speculate about c) i.e, somebody check Nish's house to see if he has a large collection of Ginsu knives. (Note how adeptly I avoided the penis enlargement issue...) In short, Nish, from the spammer's perspective (nuts or not), Gotcha! Say, you didn't happen to know P.T. No Chris D, you got it all wrong! Nish never read the mail :-) BUT Nish was attracted by the To: and Cc: headers. Nish did take the email's headers and tried to figure out where it came from. But Nish didn't read even one line of the mail. Nish does read spam headers sometimes, but never the body :-) Nish p.s. Usually Nish refers to himself in first person. This was a rarity :-O

The odd time when I'm asked to enter an email address on some suspect web form, I usually use an address like that.
