I've just rolled out a Login/Menu application written in WPF/C#, 2 users have rung me directly and said it looks professional and very well designed, a warm glow is felt in my heart. It's not often you get praise from a user.

Well done. For a moment then I thought you were working in a nuclear power plant. ;)

I re-engineered a sales Order Processing system last year. Converted from 25x80 teletype screens to a rich GUI, most of the 'old' time users were reluntant to move and had nothing postitive to say at all, even though the new design had more features that they needed and required less keystrokes to enter information. A few weeks later after the roll out I said "We'll going back to the old system next week" - you should of heard the uproar. I suppose I can take that as a complaint :-\

Hold that feeling, and shut down the Bugzilla server.

Good on you! Try to bottle some of it, if possible! :-) Well done.

Are you sure they were not wanting to call some other company? OK, enough pun. It surely is a good feeling. Have a coffee on that. :)
