Gastro doing the rounds here at the moment... Our day care had a bout of Hand Foot Mouth a couple of months ago. Nasty stuff. Roll on summer I say, we seem to have a good run once the sun starts to come out.

Yep, we sent July in the northern hemisphere and not so much as a sniffle out of any of us.

That's really bad. I took 'hand, foot and mouth disease' to be a reference to a disease that livestock get ( i.e. tongue in cheek ).

        Nope, they are unrelated.

OK - I just meant that I thought you were making a random, semi comical comment about getting a general sickness. That sounds nasty, I've not heard of it, which I assume means i've not had it, nor have my kids. I'm glad you're all OK now.

They give you diseases you wouldn't otherwise be exposed to. I'm back at work after a week off with Hand Foot and Mouth disease thanks to our little fella which was an amazingly painful experience.

You poofy latte sippers east of Strathfield sure are soft. Out here in the Westrn Suburbs we're way too tough to get any of those kiddy diseases. I'll send you some harden-up, take half a cup a day and you'll be sorted.

I'm from the Westrn Suburbs mate, so I don't even need a teaspoon of harden-up, I'm sorted. After 24 years the body could do without caffeine and alcohol for a while.

Why are you bringing Maunder into the conversation? And you forgot the soy.

I know, my visa was revoked when I knocked up a wog, bought a German car and admitted I;ve never watched an entire game of League. Speaking of which, why are there six tackles in league? 'cause that's the average number of fingers on a fan's hand.

You should try having a wife that's a Nursery Nurse. I get bloody everything that she gets form OPC's (other peoples children), and I don't have any kids of my own... She works at a nursery where the parents seem to drop off their kids whatever ailment they have, apparently Calpol is the universal illness mask...

Yup. I have two kids myself, but it was my 2 year old nephew that did me in. Woke up this morning with a bit of a fever and an award winning case of cotton-mouth.
