Yeah, There appears to still be a feeling to drop Pluto as a planet. So we could be down to 8 at some stage. :-) Regardz Colin J Davies

I don't think that will happen to many astronomers will get upset. Plus the fact that Tombaugh found it by inference, and not by studying thousands of pictures looking for anything that showed up. Though popular rumour has it that what Tombaugh found (Pluto) wasn't actually what caused him to look in that part of the sky in the first place :) B.

As a great fan of Enéas, I think you should know that he was elected the most voted member of the House of Representatives (I think this is the most near translation of “deputado federal”). He had about 1.5 million votes and his “female version”, Havanir Ribeiro, had about 600,000 votes too. With this voting, they elected all PRONA representatives (about 6)! At one time, we had a network of Sun machines. The guys named them after the planets. There was a jerk in QA who insisted he had to have one too. He wasn't happy when they insisted on naming his machine Uranus.

For those of you without easy access to 3D glasses Colin's name appears as a large slowly sloping downwards arrow that pokes out of the page towards you!
