See I've always wondered this, I'm left handed, and feel very comfortable changing gear with the left with the right hand on the wheel. I've imagined changing gear with my right hand, and it feels odd!

You silly person. Shifting with the right hand is exactly the way God and Henry Ford intended.

So today is 20th of October 2009. In UK format that is 20/10/2009. Kinda makes sense right, smallest to biggest. Logical. In US format it's 10/20/2009. Now to me that's totally illogical. Why would you do that. Can any Americans explain to me why this makes sense. (lets try to forget about patriotism). I don't understand why it would ever be useful to break the logical order. It's like writing the time in HH:SS:MM. [As a developer I obviously recognise that the superior format is neither of the above but is in fact YYYY-MM-DD as it maintains correct sort order and digit significance]

I believe the most logical form is: 2009/10/20

160 Fluid Ounces, naturally
CCC solved so far: 2 (including a Hard One!)
I thought it was 128 ounces. Or 4 quarts which are 32 ounces each.

Fish don't drink a lot. They don't have to.
Fish drink 24/7 ;P (unless they are on the hook for something  )

And what is a gallon?

Only so they could import cheaper cars from Australia instead of shipping them from the US. Also, it caused major problems with buses that have doors that now open into oncoming traffic :wtf:
I heard (citation needed) that the first Macdonalds Drive-Thru restaurant in the UK was built using the standard plan that came from America. It wasn't until the first people started to use it that they discovered that the customers could not receive the orders because the delivery hatches were on the opposite side from the driver's door windows.

I don't understand why Americans have to use things like dates and measurements differently than everyone else and yet, I am American. Personally, I think it's an ego thing from way back when. Here's what I find even stranger. When it comes to the military, they do use the metric system and they do call it 20/10/2009 because they need to be on the same page with the rest of the world. It's just us silly civilians that can't get it together. I remember when I was in elementary school; they were talking about converting the US to the metric system. People went so crazy that we were almost in a riot stage so they canned the idea. Too bad, base 12 for measurements sure doesn't make any sense to me while base 10 is as natural as you can get.

I've driven on the right once, when I was last over't pond. Very strange! However, it was an automatic (which I'd also never driven before) so it wasn't really a problem. The biggest difference was going from driving (my now long gone) Saxo, to a Dodge Caravan
