If you’re at all interested in WPF but have been living under a rock, you may have missed Sacha Barber’s series of Cinch articles. There is cavalcade of code goodness wrapped up in these articles, and I really recommend taking a look at Cinch if you haven’t already done so. While you are at it, please show Sacha your support by giving him your vote in the monthly competition, as he is threatened by some opposing robot troops. http://www.codeproject.com/script/Surveys/VoteForm.aspx?srvid=968[^]

Only if they're better than Sasha's articles which are, generally, excellent both in terms of content and the clear and easy to follow way in which he constructs them. Would-be authors would do well to examine his output and learn how to create articles correctly.

I have won the monthly thing loads, which is nice. And I do not mind when I loose that is fine. But it should be to a good article. I have lost to Daniel Vaughan loads before, and that is fine by me as he does superb articles. But that mail one, did look odd, as it came from no where. To be honest the prizes you get from winning the comp can not be used anyway, as they are normally software, that if I did use in my articles none of you would be able to run anyway, due to missing license. But the win is of course nice, but I honestly do not mind. I just despise voting games is all.

I agree with you - the votes on the "email sending" article does look spurious. However Sacha, I think you shouldn't mind. My vote (along with several other people's vote) is with you and I'd like to see you win the monthly competition again. I know it isn't about the prizes. It made a pretty good read and there's a whole lot of information in it. If I must be brutally honest, I never read articles on managed code, but articles written by you and a couple of other guys are always an exception. :)

Cool, glad to be one of the exceptions, I just hope its not the NullPointerException, which is more than likely the reason I like managed code, pointers and me did not go well, in my early student days.
