I had a big laugh when I saw the performance benchmarks for Mac OSX Snow Leopard Server. One area was the mail server performance[^] and Apple claims that its mail server is 1.7 times[^] faster than Sun Java Messaging Server. Sure :), so if you want to market your product as being fast what is is better than comparing it with Java based product.

Their marketing people blew it. If you really want to impress the consumer, they should have said "our mail server is 10^6 times faster than the US Postal Service." Now that's impressive! Would certainly sell me! Marc
