The original wasn't in strikethrough when I read it, I can only assume it was added when quoted :)

Oh. I think there's some need for clarification here - The OP has posted it WITHOUT the strikes. I saw the post in my feed reader before it was deleted. I re-posted it again for 'aspdotnetdev', with strikes. Guess it was my mistake :-O

*sigh* If you have to explain a joke... ... Either it's not funny, or you're talking to a dev.
I wanna be a eunuchs developer! Pass me a bread knife!

Okay, if a joke is not funny then a dev would laugh. To prove it get a marketing man and a dev in a room. Smack the marketeer in the face with hot frying pan [not funny] and note the dev's reaction [hysterics]
Panic, Chaos, Destruction. My work here is done.

Dang, I never get to see the "good" stuff before it gets removed.
Visual Studio is an excellent GUIIDE.
We should have Garbage Collection, where only once a deleted post hasn't been viewed by inner circle members in, say, seven days, does it get permanently removed. We could even apply GC generation metrics, where older, less viewed, but more weighty posts survive longer.

It shows a lack of conviction. If he really believed in the product, he'd have gone for italic+bold, not strikethrough.

It is a cruel thing to do. The pan might get damaged.

Maybe, but it's a good way of getting rid of all the boiling oil.

How about CG metrics? The forensics would be much more fun...
