Email Notification

Hi Chris, Just a little suggestion from me. I think it is good to have Email Notification on Replies to answers in quick answer section. I always see my mailbox regarding replies to answers. Also just like message boards, It is good to have Replies to every answers posted, rather than the whole post. As I always see my mailbox for replies to my answers, it is hard to find them for Quick answers section. :rose:

I think he means that when a message is posted in the Quick Answers section you do not receive an email copy like you do in the main forums, thereby alerting you to the fact. I think this is one of the main problems with QA in that if the OP asks for clarification of your answer you don't know he has done so.

Yes chris, As Richard mentioned, I think it is better to have a message board under each answer, rather than to have it for the whole topic at the bottom. No one (including the author of the question) generally knows there is a message board at the bottom and replies as answers. This way, even though there is a discussion around a topic... it creates multiple answers for the question. I think this would be nice to have a reply at the bottom of each answers and that will also notify the person to whom it is replied (Just like the Message Board section). This way, we can have more clear posts to the Quick answer section. :)
