macro not working in vs 2005

I use macros in visual studio 2005 a lot. This morning I try to use a macro and it does not work. Nothing was executed. Anybody knows why? I restarted my computer and it did not help. I had no change in the system overnight. I am frustrated. Now I have to type a lot to make some changes to my program.
