How does one get a "Member" banned from the Message Boards?
-
There seems to be a little "shitter":mad: in the C# Message Board that is constantly posting shite in some Islamic language. I have nothing against the religion etc but if he is posting in english he can be helped. He just seems to be flooding the damn message board with crap the whole time. This is the little "shit"[^]. It is just very annoying to other members who are trying to get help or to be helpfull!!

Haha, in the summary of lounge posts on the home page, this thread appears as "How does one get a 'Member'..." - quotes and all. I have captured it as an image[^] for posterity, and much mirthmaking on other sites.

There's a certain irony to this isn't there? In terms of etiquette, why the expletives in the lounge?

How does one get a "Member" banned from the Message Boards? With a different attitude, for starters.

Don't talk so arrogantly, don't assume everyone wants him banned, don't use swear words to describe him/her. Rather, politely point out the problem and ask what should be done.

They can ban the members current ID, but that banned person can easily create a new id and rejoin. Sure, they essentially lose their reputation, but these are the kinds of people that don't care about their reputation score because they don't operate on the same value system as civilized people.

OK, The particular poster in question can be described as a Total D*ckweed (and this is the politest thing have to say about him). He and his buddy should have been banned days ago probably both for using a foreign language and basically treating the C# forum as their own private message board (As far as I could follow via google translate they swapped URLs of photos of one another, then arrange to meet in Miami). But WTF does "some Islamic language" have to do with it? It's a foreign language full stop, nothing to do with Islam, so why bring it up?

So they swapped photos, exchanged ideas, and agreed to meet in Miami all on an anonymous message board and in farsi? I'm alerting DHS :p
