I love hard work. I can watch it for hours. Literally. But in this case, I'd as well more likely be inclined to 'do the duty', than to watch. BTW, congrats man! PS: WTF is up with you? You keep disappearing every now and then. "I've been working hard" is not an excuse. We all work hard. :)

Well, I'm doing 3 things at the same time plus looking for more work (both in and/or out of Jordan) and I'm at the client's site most of the time and I'm their currently acting sys admin and I have no time to scratch my tush! And I've been traveling and I got back from Dubai a few days ago and before that Egypt... But you're right.. I don't have any excuses! :sigh:

Well, it's a big project! (Don't diss the IDE/compiler though - that might get you into serious trouble! :-D)

Congratulations Mustafa. If I remember correctly your Sam is a only a few months older than ours. I'm still too shell shocked to consider another!
Cheers Josh! Sam turns 2 on the 5th of March (this Friday! :-D)

Just between us I'm a bit too! But I don't like big age differences between siblings and my mother and my MIL are both pestering us for another (which shows that A Canadian and a Brit can be both bitten by the Middle East bug after 30 years) and that can get bloody annoying. Besides, kids are wonderful :) Can you ever forget the gummy toothless smile your baby welcomes you with, their eyes completely lit up with joy though they can barely gurgle? :-D

We still haven't got to that point yet, but that's the only part I'm not looking forward to. How far along is your wife? (and a hearty congratulations to you too!)

about 12 weeks, and she's starting to show, so she's been through the sleeping 14 hours a day phase and the throwing up 14 hours a day phase, and now things are settling down until she starts really showing. I can't wait until we find out the sex of this one to see if we are going to have 2 boys or one of each.

Nope, it looks like we'll be leaving Sydney soon to spend 6 or 12 months in Amsterdam. I reckon our next one will have Dutch & Aussie passports :)

Congratulations yourself man! :-D Looks like the CPians are a bountiful bunch! OT: I'm considering moving to St. Louis, for work to start off with and possibly university again when I can afford it. What's the work like there these days? Is it ok if I email you?

Having been a full timer at a small company for over 3 years I've no idea how the market is. Calls from recruiters started again end of last year but not like it was. However it took months to find a software engineer worth hiring last year. Email away ...
