I like PHP for web programming, but I'm no expert. As far as Telstra, you should talk to CG. I think he's their head of marketing and hangs out here. I'm not sure if he does PHP or not, though.

I am enjoying my amazing, flawless, and superfast (20 MBps) Telstra internet and a beer. Life could not be more perfect. Any PHP programmers here or am I at the wrong place?

We might be able to expand on this concept, we'll all get along...if given enough beer. Global peace through beer! Sounds good to me. :-D

I bet 56K seems like super fast internet when given enough beer! Heck, I bet a certain Cascading Style Sheet seems smart.

That's why DD gets along with everyone, especially on Friday evenings.

We should replace the water cooler at work with a keg. No more corporate in fighting (or productivity for that matter...bah minor details).

That would be PHP with embedded silverlight controls I assume. All edited from a Vista machine.

I've done a fair bit of PHP dev, but I'm far from a fan - it feels too halfbaked and hodgepodge, coming from an ASP.NET background. Phalanger[^] is looking good though, due to the possibility that I can use my .NET app logic from within the PHP apps I have to support.
