Only a Eugenicist would deny GW. You want us to believe there is no problem so that when it's too late millions of people will be wiped out. You're just a puppet for the power hungry Eugenicist politicians who are mad with power.

O.K. I have read your links (except for Al Gore, who is a politician). Why so many linking to the glaciers in the Himalayas? One need only read it once. Why the link to the discredited Peter Spencer story? You had been told[^] that it was his family who were repossessing his land in payment of an outstanding loan. None of these links provide any evidence against the hypothesis of AGW. True, Doctor Alan Carlin questioned the degree and rate of GW attributable to CO2, and drew attention to additional mechanisms that could cause Climate Change, but his paper is, by his own admission, not a scientific analysis.

Pillowpants doesn't have any evidence... That's why he always posts links attacking the credibility of the most well-known AGW advocates. You know, the whole thing reminds me of this[^] little movie snippet... Nick Naylor: Exactly, but you can't win that argument... so, I'll ask you: so you think chocolate is the end all and the all of ice-cream, do you? Joey Naylor: It's the best ice-cream, I wouldn't order any other. Nick Naylor: Oh! So it's all chocolate for you is it? Joey Naylor: Yes, chocolate is all I need. Nick Naylor: Well, I need more than chocolate, and for that matter I need more than vanilla. I believe that we need freedom. And choice when it comes to our ice-cream, and that Joey Naylor, that is the defintion of liberty. Joey Naylor: But that's not what we're talking about Nick Naylor: Ah! But that's what I'm talking about. Joey Naylor: ...but you didn't prove that vanilla was the best... Nick Naylor: I didn't have to. I proved that you're wrong, and if you're wrong I'm right. Joey Naylor: But you still didn't convince me Nick Naylor: It's that I'm not after you. I'm after them. [points into the crowd] Just ignores the facts, changes the debate to something he can win, and presses it hard... Everyone with a brain knows he's an idiot, but the general public might start to agree with him.

Captain SeeVee does not understand the science underlying the arguments for and against AGW. (On this forum, who does? :) ) He can thus only post links to headlines that read as if they will discredit AGW. None these links (absent Al Gore, who discredits everything he is involved in) does.

2 facts: 1- The winter have been very warm, with 4 to 6 degrees Celsius above average. Almost no snow. The temperature never went down to -30C, which is not normal. Although I can enjoy an early spring, it scares me a little. 2- In Iles-de-la-Madeleine, there was no ice banks for seals to mate. First time I heard of this one though. Even if science is wrong, it does not mean GW is not happening. I am among the skeptics, but a skeptic on both sides.

GW is just the latest fad religion. People will either believe it or not. There is little chance of convincing a believer it is not happening. Or vice versa. Everyone will point to the collection of facts that they like and shout them from the rooftops. My problem with it all is that without knowing for sure what's happening or what's causing it, these same people who can't agree sure have a lot of ideas on how to fix it. My guess is that any cure will be far worse than the disease.

The only thing AGW is about is Money and Power.

Like I said below, I read a book called 'why people believe weird things'. Then last night I saw a TV show on the new KKK. The members all looked and acted exactly as I imagine you ( that is, in general, not as a KKK member ). It was like I thought about you all weekend, because so many things kept reminding me of you.

The issue is entirely that it has become a religion, and almost no-one who wants to discuss it, wants to discuss it rationally, be it Al Gore, or Captain Retard. Neither cares what the facts are.

Evidence that shows that current temperatures are not due to GH gas warming: 1) SOuth pole is cooling and has been for 50 years or so. 2) Troposphere is not as warm as it should be. There you go, Pure simple fact that shows that GH gas warming is not occuring.

Well, as anyone wil tell you, you need LOTS of weather to make a climate and one warm winter in Vancouver isnt convincing on its own. Especially since the elsewhere snow and cold records have been set.

Truth has never been determined by popularity. Darwin wasnt popular and yet adaptation of species has been seen to occur since he proposed the theory. Anyway. Two facts that disprove that GH gas warming is occuring today. 1) South pole is cooling and has been for 50 years. 2) The troposphere is not as warm as it should. Its plain simple empiracle science.
