You're probably right, but he's a maggot, and a rise is what he wants. It's not like there's a single person on this forum who would take anything he says seriously. I doubt he even believes it, amongst the things that are deliberate attempts to twist what I've said, are things that don't bear any relation to anything I've ever said. I don't see why I should care what a mentally ill person has to say about me, it reflects badly on him, not me.

I'd be surprised if CG does anything about it (you're simply not worth the effort) but I'm also sure he could if he was ever so inclined.

Yes, it's plain that I could sue him for slander, my problem is that I'd have to prove in court that he's someone who anyone would take seriously ( his being a joke to everyone here undermines the claim of slander ). It may be worth it to force him to take a pysch evaluation, which I'd presume would be part of his defence. I can plainly afford the lawyer, this is actually sounding tempting. To sit in court and hear the defence lawyer go over the proof that his client is mentally ill would be better than winning.....

As someone who has to visit the topic fairly regularly, Christian could probably run him up the pole for this one. And I'm typically on the other end of it. Repeating what someone has said and providing context to what was being discussed and where, so people can point and laugh at people who say really stupid shit, perfectly legal. Misquoting them and claiming they're engaged in illegal activities based on little more than your own delusion, not so much.
