Do you mean handleable by any chance?

Thanks, but nope. The word was indeed "handible" and the not so wide-spread usage of it, as indicated by Google, converges to something like "manageable"...

The google results should answer the question for you. It's a nonsense word and we'd give you funny looks for using it.

Somewhat credible [1] references from Google - both IEEE and patent submissions - use "handible" sort of meaning "manageable". [1] Depending on the outcome you want...

          Why? Is it frangible?

So, Google gives a whopping 722 hits for "handible", Googling for "define: handible" shoots beside the target and reference.com has never heard of it in any form. You English speakers out there - is "handible" a real word? If not, would you understand me anyway if I said that "Oh, you know, this is really handible!" ?

Nope, no such word* and neither can I infer meaning from your usage of it. *I asked the OED.

No, it is not a real world, and I would assume you were on psychotropic substances if I heard you say that "Oh, you know, this is really handible!"

Like everybody else I don't think it's a real word, and if I had to guess I would have figured it meant convenient. But, the English language isn't static. So if you use it in enough places and make an appeal to the OED, maybe it can become official! On that note, I may have to think of a new and fantastical word then start some kind of group to get it into the dictionary.

My current favourite word is: Smooth!

In my experience anything with fewer than 10,000 hits is not a word. And by that I do not want to imply I know the ones that do hit 10,000+ :)

three hours, that is pretty quick turn around! I guess since Google isn't going to have to 'handible' PRC queries anymore, they are using their servers for other things.
