Can you give an example? I've not observed that.

At least three different occasions in the netscape forums between 05 and 07, I got to watch it live. I did not spend a whole lot of time there, but he was online 3-5 times while I was in that period. He cherry picked the stupids, but when someone smarter tried to pin him down, he would switch threads.

Odd; I've not seen those but when I have seen him he is usually polite but firm and hasn't ducked anything that's been thrown at him. I guess we see what we want to see.

I didn't. From what I had seen on youtube, I thought I was going into a discussion with an intelligent, but not too polite*, guy. Just because I disagree with does not mean my mind is infested with worms. Both sides have proven it is a good bet to think they are, though. * not a put down, you can't be too polite in that line of argument.

I hope that he succeeds. If there was a Care Worker with holding information about a Peado there would be uproar. No-one is above the law. Bravo Mr Dawkins.

Unfortunately, some actually are, per the law. :sigh:

"I guess we see what we want to see." I meant that I didn't see him as rude or anything like that: doesn't mean he wasn't; I just don't see taking a strong position and giving as good as you get rude. You are right, though, it's an impossible argument; much as I know I'm right, so do you (so to speak) and neither side will shift the other. Gets a bit pointless, really which is why, I suspect, it gets a bit 'hot-n-heavy' in a non-porn way. :-)

:thumbsup: Not for stuff like that! Maybe for stuff actually related to the office. Not for pedophilia.

Me either, or I would never have an excuse for my behavior. What pissed me off was he dodged hard questions and picked on the stupid. (and I don't mean 'my questions', I mean 'hard questions).

Very true. Shame there are so many blinkered people here that down voted that comment. Just shows how dangerous Religion can be on the mind. +5
