So, I'm riding my bike into work this morning. It's a little before 6:00 a.m. and it's still dark, so I've got the light mounted on my handlebars turned on. I had to stop my bike twice and wait for people to go past me. The first guy's light is so bright I could see him coming down the bike path (an old rail bed) almost a mile away. The other guy is a walker with a light mounted on a hat, and the @!@#$@! moron points his head to look at me as he walks past. Is it really necessary to have your phaser set to kill that early in the morning? :sigh:

Well, it is true I'm on the lookout for a bicycle-mounted anti-tank weapon for use with impolite drivers.

On the serious side, I can feel your pain, I'm very annoyed by car drivers having fog lights always ON (I suppose fog lights aren't a medication for incipient blindness). :)

Helmet-mounted lights ruin others' dark vision so you don't look directly at someone.

My wife's grandfather Oscar was a coal miner, and was familiar with handling dynamite. One day the shift supervisor asked him to remove a tree stump next to the office shack, because the guy wanted a space to park his car. Oscar removed the stump using several sticks of dynamite. He also removed about half of the office shack, which was fortunately unoccupied at the time :omg:.

Ah, dumb me. My only visits to a mine were school trips years ago, we only got the helmets, not the flashlights. We had well lit tunnels.

Well, it is true I'm on the lookout for a bicycle-mounted anti-tank weapon for use with impolite drivers.

Mounting it on the bike itself would be difficult due to needing clear lines of site forward and backward (rocket exhaust) but RPG's are easily carried over the shoulder and launched from the same.

I only used dynamite a few times and it had to be handled very carefully. Most of the mines used ANFO, Ammonium Nitrate / Fuel Oil, since it was considerably more stable. It was also a lot more predictable in terms of how much to use and how it would fire. :)
