Where can I download Visual C# Express 2008???
-
I had to re-install windows and lost my old installation of Visual C# Express 2008. So, now I downloaded the 2010 version, but it requires conversion of 2008 projects and gets errors. I checked Visual Studio Express download page and google, but I couldn't find any place to download Visual C# Express 2008 other than brothersoft, which apparently is very unsafe. Can anyone link me to a safe download location? Thanks!

Should be safe[^]. Don't blame me if it isnt. :)
This is 2010 again. The download site says 2008, but the downloader apparently only gets the current version, which is 2010. Never mind, found it.

Did you consider providing a link? Someone else might be interested... :)

I would have been interested last week. Had the same prolem as the OP. had to reinstall Windows. Then needed VS 2008 Express to do a tech test but would only give me VS 2010. Ended up doing the test in VS 2005 instead, which was good enough as it happened.

I hate it when posters say they've solved their problem and then don't enlighten us.

Try the following: For the exe versions: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=122094 For the iso version: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=122095 Let me know if those work. _____________ Joe
