unfortunately true, its all those brain dead cage drivers out there. When i started riding an old biker gave me some good advice, he said treat all car drivers as if they are out to kill you because 9 times 10 they will be behaving so, and if anything things have got worse

As a car driver I treat all motorbike riders as if they are out to kill themselves because 9 times out of 10 they will be behaving so. As a bicycle rider, I treat the entire world as if it's out to kill me.

I find that any bike that is in dayglo colours and ridern by a reject from the power rangers is certainly in that catagory (to many born again wallies with more money than skill) and cyclist are just sucicidal, for such a vunrable road user they dont half do stupid things

Everytime I see those 'Think Bike' signs an image of Amanda Holden pops into my head.

Left my bike at the eatery last night because I drank a whole bottle of Fat Bastard wine (a nice Sauvignon Blanc), and lost my keys on the way home (dropped them in the lounge), so I walked up to see if I left them there. When I walked back home, I found them, but on both occasions I left my helmet on my bike, so having found myy keys, I cannot ride back on my spare bike, but I have to walk back again. It's only a 1km walk one way, but after the Fat Bastard hit me last night, this third 1k walk is looking very unpleasent. I suppose it's better than that last time I rode home pissed and hit a lamp post and nearly broke my collar bone or neck.

as to the Bike, finially got mine ready for the MOT, but on the way to the centre I blew the seal on the rear brake caliper - talk about timing

since when? and if you are being like that the surely it is actually Motor Bicycle. I have been a biker for donkeys and wouldnt be seen dead on one of those manual powered stone age things.

You probably would because bicycling precludes wearing the stuff that insulated you skin and bones from the road.

As I turn up my music, relax in my comfortable seat, light a cigarette (yes, terrible habit, but not one you can indulge in on a motorbike), and not worry about whose body my kidneys will be inside in a few hours time.
