The customary location for "why xxx sucks" is the Lounge.
"WPF has many lovers. It's a veritable porn star!" - Josh Smith
As Braveheart once said, "You can take our freedom but you'll never take our Hobnobs!" - Martin Hughes.

I don't post often; I think the last time was over a year ago. In looking at the listbox, this one looked most appropriate. No "Lounge" listed.

It's just above you on the right, or just below on the left. Not really that hard to find.
It's time for a new signature.

You're right; if you know to look for it. Just delete the post, huh? That make you happier? Geez. I've seen far worse rants than this on here... This is a great reminder of why I work alone.

Well common sense should tell you to look first for the appropriate forum. Read the guidelines, read a few messages to see what the generally accepted protocols are ...

I think we can all figure that one out ;)

Don't be such a prima donna. Man up and suck it up. The Lounge has a long and noble history of suckage posts, and it has a much higher posting rate than anywhere else in CP, so it gets the most traffic. What you have here is a rant that doesn't violate any of the lounge rules; this forum is intended for rants that aren't suitable for the lounge (i.e. no swearing, no posts that you wouldn't want your kid sister to read, that type of thing).

Nobody twisted your arm to make you ignore the joke symbol, right? :-D Lighten up, it was a joke and so marked. :)

Ok, point taken; sorry, it's been a bad several weeks... Pete: so, um, I can get rude, crude and socially unaccceptable over in the lounge? I'm on it! D. T. Doutel
But do not forget the Lounge is KSS (Kid Sister Save) of course in my case my "kid" sister is over 50!

Microsoft is slowly dying. Their monopoly has caused them to degenerate, people don't like their products anymore. With the crumbling of MS, new operating systems claiming comparability with Windows software (even though the architecture is new and ingenious), and all will be well.

Really? People seemed pretty stoked with Windows 7, personally I find it nice for my home machine but don't really miss it at work, but that's almost entirely due to my different monitor layouts. Barring the typical "It's not identical to the old version" rants and "I can't run it on my thimble from 1987" complaints 7 hasn't had much against it. They just can't seem to do much in the mobile market, and the Zune is apparently under appreciated, and I'd still personally like to shoot them for the Xbox and driving games off of a real machine and onto a glorified arcade box. But the real products aren't half bad.

Holy cow. How old are you? Do you remember what it was like before Colombo discovered the West Indies? :-D Seriously, it's very cool that someone at your age is still at it. I wish I will be.

Oh come on; I'm old but am rarely the oldest at any contract - seen a definite swing away from youth to experience over the last few years.

Frack. Kid sister != kid. My apologies! I figured if she was your kid at 50... I need to go back on vacation again. When the week is over, I'm off to 4 more weeks! :)
