I made a reply a minute ago, but someone in a trench-coat and sunglasses asked me to remove it... ;P

When I got hold of the entire Babylon 5 series, I needed a codec for MKV. Here's a place to get 'em all: http://www.cccp-project.net/ WARNING:   Put on sun-glasses or other protective eye-ware before using link.

MKV is not an encoding so it doesn't need a CODEC, it's just a container. Use VLC - if that doesn't work, download a different version (of Babylon 5, not VLC) I've already seen a promising one on pirate bay (but the seed/peer ratio sucks..) Edit: it's a shame I have to lose points because someone else is a pirate :) Or maybe they don't like TPB? Their search feature is kinda bad yes, you could try torrentz.com

No, I 1 voted the fact that if B5 had come from a legitimate source he wouldn't have needed codecs...much as EC alluded to.

You can "get hold" of the entire Babylon 5 series....but you'll need a codec afterwards. So what exactly would you expect?

I don't 1 vote usually. It takes a lot to make me do that. :) Of course it doesn't take much to get the 1's in return, must be because I paid for the whole series.... I mean, how stupid is that right? :-D I remember back as a teen I had the most number of purchased video games of any person at our high-school. Unfortunately, I did NOT have the most number of games by far....

a Serious undertaking! I don't have a portable player that would play that much, so I leave it on DVD. :) and I have waaaaaaaay too many DVD's to try to convert my whole collection to anything.

I recently bought a Doctor Who series from Amazon, when they arrived they had zone 2 restrictions, I had no idea I needed to stipulate or manage the zoning (obviously I don't buy a lot of video, we usually hire). And this is how they stop piracy, dammed foolishness if you ask me.

I shouldn't bother with the last few episodes. Retch-inducing sentimental drivel like that should be confined to weekday afternoons, where it belongs.
