    So I overslept again today! But only by 2 hours. I seem to have mastered the art of ignoring an alarm going off right next to my ear... Anyone have a nice annoying alarm tone/mp3 that I can use on my phone?

      What really works best for me is setting the heating to make it 20 degrees by the time I want to wake up. It has never failed me. It's so uncomfortable that you will not even be tempted to roll over and go back to sleep. You will just want to get the heck out.

        Buy a decent alarm clock.

            Put the alarm clock across the room so you have to get up to turn it off.

              You should probably just go to bed earlier. It is impossible to "sleep through" anything if you aren't over tired :zzz:

                20C is around normal room temperature. Where do you normally have your thermostat set to that you find this level exceptionally unpleasant?

                3x12=36 2x12=24 1x12=12 0x12=18

                  ~17, I wouldn't find 20 unpleasant normally, but normal room temperature != normal sleeping temperature. 20C is really a lot when you're under a blanket..

                    I find that the Air Raid Siren noise works well. Keep your phone across the room. Force yourself to get out of bed to turn off the alarm.

                      Everything makes sense in someone's mind

                        I only uses a sheet. That said my summer AC is normally around 23C and I grew up in the hottest bedroom of an un air conditioned house; even 30C wouldn't keep me up.

                          That's okay... I made up for it by coming in early. The CP time balance is all that matters right? :-D
