    ...assuming I could no longer program without fingers, that is. I have a big 'ole filing cabinet with sharp metal edges. A girl in my office just tripped and kicked the thing shut as I was rifling through some specs. It slammed shut, like, hard...on my wedding ring. It's a little less round, but I can still count to five on one hand. Owe my wife a big one on the kisser when I get home.

        lol...good catch...I taught my oldest to count to 1023 on his fingers recently.

          No ambition! Take his shoes off, and get him to count to 1048575.

                Might as well instill some values while he's still young... why not teach him how to count using floating point numbers? :)

                              Actually, if you count the joints, you can count to 243 with one hand.

                                          I had a similar evil thought. Maybe she just finished up a degree from an online college that would let her slip right into your position... Next time 1. put out a big, orange work cone while you are rummaging through the cabinets. 2. put a bell around her neck.
