I see many different nice looking diagrams in cp articles and every time i wonder about what software did you use to create your diagrams, not only for cp articles but also for your day-by-day work... I'm looking for such a software. What do you use and what do you recommend ? Thank you.

I have CDO, it's OCD with the letters in the right order; just as they ruddy well should be

To rewire a plug? Knife. To ease the lid from a paint pot? Knife. To scrape wall paper from a wall? Knife. My wife's toolkit!

To rewire a plug? Scissors. To ease the lid from a paint pot? Expensive-and-used-to-be-sharp-but-now-has-a-big-ding-in-the-blade chisel(s) . To scrape wall paper from a wall? Don't know - but I had to go and buy a plasterers float and a big bag of finish plaster to fix the damage. Oh, and learn to plaster (a bit). To prune a chilli bush in the greenhouse? Pliers. Then left in a puddle. To tighten screws in a door hinge - club hammer. To smooth a bit of fence that gave her splinters when she leant on it? Power plane!?! Would have been nice if she had checked for nails first, but hey? The blades aren't too expensive, and they only take an hour or so to replace properly. :doh:
Real men don't use instructions. They are only the manufacturers opinion on how to put the thing together.

My God! That could work! Monochrome would be easiest, Black pixel for 0, white for 1. Now there is a possibility for my small series of Tip/Tick articles designed to get lazy student thrown off their course... So far I have: 1) Converting numbers to words via a monolithic switch statement. 2) Converting numbers to Roman numerals via a huge database. It's worth thinking of 3) Doing something homeworky by pixel manipulation of an image control. Hmm. Need to look for an opportunity... :laugh:

Believe it or not, Visio is pretty much the best I have used for building diagrams of any kind, from drawing direction maps for company coming into town, to network diagrams, to simple flowcharts...
