Go away then, you clearly don't belong here.... Seriously, the test is flawed on many levels. Not least, people with Aspergers tend to become more sociable as they age, they just learn how to socialise later and more by rote. Hannah is like that, we teach her specific things to say to deal with situations.

It's been said that to be a good software developer you need to be at least a little on the Autistic / Asperger's side of things, how do you compare? http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/9.12/aqtest.html[^] (I got 25)

Need custom software developed? I do custom programming based primarily on MS tools with an emphasis on C# development and consulting. I also do Android Programming as I find it a refreshing break from the MS. "And they, since they Were not the one dead, turned to their affairs" -- Robert Frost

Of course, if you just scroll down to the bottom of the page before you take the test, it tells you how to answer to get the maximum score

I don't think so. What's flawed is taking it on the internet. It's meant to be delivered and scored, in conjunction with other testing, by a psychologist trained to give those kinds of tests. It's definitely not meant to be taken on the internet where one can see how the test is scored ahead of time and what the next questions are before finishing the one you're on. Cheers, Drew.

I've heard other people say that too. I'm not sure where that comes from. My observations have always been that people with Asperger's-like personalities tend to migrate towards things that don't require much social interaction. Which would make sense, I suppose. Most of the developers I've known that I would consider really great don't fit that category, unlike many of the run-of-the-mill ones. Could just be the particular crowd I've been around, though. Cheers, Drew.

It is trying to see if you fit into one category, rather than which category.

Exactly. Single-focus questionnaires invariably lead people toward "passing", so their results are worthless.
