Prove us wrong by analysing what was funny in the OP. :)

so why the assumptions....
What assumptions? I read your joke, and applied a hint of critical though. "Oh, those black men, they're so stupid" isn't really a pun. Iain.

I've heard this joke before, but then it was in a blonde joke version. And that's fine, for some reason. I have never had a racist bone in my body, as far as I'm concerned we're all just people. I don't get why one is labeled racist if a joke is targeting some group based on their skin colour but not if it is based on hair colour. I think the people that "over-PC" things are considerably more racist than most people that don't. //L

Perhaps because you can change your hair colour?
Real men don't use instructions. They are only the manufacturers opinion on how to put the thing together.

Oh, you silly audience. You thought Riccarado was being racist because he was advocating one kind of racial stereotype about large "ahem"ed black men, when in fact he was proposing a differing one about them being stupid! "lol"
I am one of "those foreigners coming over here and stealing our jobs". Yay me!
It's called 'racism suspense joke'. I've to admit I found it funny, racist indeed, but funny. :-O :)

This is going on my arrogant assumptions. You may have a superb reason why I'm completely wrong. -- Iain Clarke

I am proud to be blond, have never nor will I ever change the colour of my hair (after all, I am a Billy Joel fan), and I take no offence of the blond[e] jokes. I frequently make them myself. I think people need to grow a little thicker skin, or perhaps understand that we're talking about JOKES here. I'll equip you all with the most powerful weapon there is when it comes to this: if you hear a joke you don't think is funny - don't laugh. [edit] Oh, and I thought MJ was a perfect example of colour changing was not limited to hair. To my knowledge he is the only person that was born a black boy and died a white woman. [/edit] //L

Died a white something for sure, but I am not sure I know exactly what. Or want to find out. I was asked to leave one normally liberal site for making "Not suitable for children, may contain small parts" jokes...
