While I don't want to detract from the losses of others, I'd like to take this opportunity to remember my friend, Gavin McMahon, who was in the Twin Towers that day. From humble beginnings, he'd worked his way up to a senior, responsible position which meant that he relocated to New York. Sadly, he was working in the Twin Towers when the planes hit. :rose: ----------- I will never forget that day, I had flown home from offshore and just stepped into the house, and put the computer on, an email popped into my inbox from a pal in London, it made no sense, but he said in the email, put your TV on. I turned and put the TV on and couldn't believe what I was seeing. A very chilling surreal moment.

I was lucky in that I knew of no-one working in the twin towers that day. But it doesn't stop me from still thinking how absolutely horrifying it must have been for those people trapped in the towers, and for their loved ones watching the ensuing carnage. It still hits me in the heart even now. A :rose: to Gavin, and all those like him. RIP

In my heart, my hate and scorn for them is as boundless as the sorrow and sympathy that I feel for the fallen victims and their loved ones. They will never be forgotten.
