I am admittedly extremely financially conservative and socially liberal and admit it. I think the Federal government should yield power to the State's in almost all issues and I think the Senate being elected by general election is a bad idea. But that is just me. I also have solutions to the Tax problem, the health care problem, and several other issues. I just don't tell people because they don't like hard solutions.

But... Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert (Two liberal extremists [if you don't believe me watch their show]) are holding an anti-extremist rally in Washington, D.C. Sometimes, the clue meter just reads zero. I really think those two think they are moderates. (Ok, technically, Jon Stewart is holding the anti-extremist rally and Colbert is holding a Fear rally)

Well, I am using Jon's Stewart's definition of extremist here (in reverse). After all, a few weeks ago I accidentally caught the beginning of his show and got to hear that, according to Jon Stewart, a Conservative Extremist is one that burns the Qur'an while a Muslim extremist hijacks a plane and crashes it into a building.

The man's a huckster, and a good one, as are all talking heads (although in his case he also makes great use of gesticulation, emotion and props - the guy's a pro and that wasn't sarcasm). It's what pays the bills. That's not to say he doesn't believe most of what he preaches. It is however impossible to tell where he ends and the act begins, because at the end of the day he has to attract the demographic that the advertisers desire, and he's found a profitable niche. Call me a pinko-liberal-commie-socialist bastard if you must, but I take no one at their word who aggrandizes themselves. Motivation is key to understanding anyone, I ask it of everyone and while genuity may make friends it seldom makes money.
