This is the next car I buy

"33 hours and 53 minutes at an average speed of 45mph" No way for me.
Panic, Chaos, Destruction. My work here is done. or "Drink. Get drunk. Fall over." - P O'H
He was trying to break a record and this speed was the optimum for that. It does not mean that this is everything the car has to offer :)
A while ago he asked me what he should have printed on my business cards. I said 'Wizard'. I read books which nobody else understand. Then I do something which nobody understands. After that the computer does something which nobody understands. When asked, I say things about the results which nobody understand. But everybody expects miracles from me on a regular basis. Looks to me like the classical definition of a wizard.

That's a lot of compensating.

average
Everyone who starts from stationary and accelerates to 70mph drives at 45mph at some point. It doesn't say they drove all the way at 45, it says the average is 45.

Nobody does. He wanted to break a record and chose his speed to get optimal efficiency. The car can go faster and still is efficient, but not enough to break any records.

Either your too rich if not stoopid, how could a developer afford one of those let alone run one.
Two heads are better than one.
Well I do run a 2.5L 16ft long 4x4. Might cost a bit more to run but then again servicing costs are nothing, repair costs are nothing and initial purchase price was cheap considering the vehicle you get for it.
I doubt it. If it isn't intuitive then we need to fix it. - Chris Maunder
